Lake Effect Conference Room

The Lake Effect Conference Room may be reserved by faculty, students, and staff for meetings, group study, group scholastic activities, or presentation practice. Individual study should be conducted elsewhere in the library.

Accommodations: The room is equipped with a conference table seating up to 10; a flat-screen TV with access to campus cable channels, VGA and HDMI connections for laptop use, and a DVD/VHS player; and a speakerphone.  Please consult Penfield Library's Computer and Media Technology page for additional technologies that may be available.

Reservation Guidelines

  • The room is for group use only
  • Booking is available for 1-hour blocks during library hours, starting on the hour
  • You can only book 4 hours/week
  • You cannot book more than 2 months in advance
  • Your reservation request will not be complete until you have responded to the email confirmation from
  • If the space is not claimed within 30 minutes after the reservation begins, it may be given to someone else.
